Historic Jerseyville...Branching inland to the northeast from Grafton is a short drive up to Jerseyville. Named for the many early settlers who migrated here from New Jersey, Jerseyville is the county seat for Jersey County. Court House Square is beautiful and historic, too. Its towering 124-foot dome overlooks the charming homes and main street of the community.
